Our
Database Hosting and Management Services
are designed to effectively assist in the technology
migration process, and to support and carefully
monitor and maintain a bar's membership database.
To
reduce a bar's administrative overhead related
to maintaining its membership database "in-house",
BarAlliance hosts each bar's membership database
on dedicated enterprise-class redundant servers
located deep within our data center(s). As an
on-going managed service, database hosting is
an integral part of the BarAlliance Framework
Services solution, and one of the keys to allowing
a bar's staff to focus on its primary mission
of supporting its members.
A
rigorous methodology of regular data archival
ensures that the most current data sets will always
be available should should it be necessary. In
fact, regular incremental data backups may be
sent (encrypted, of course) to the bar's own IT
department so that it can archive the data volumes
"in-house" as well.
BarAlliance
managed services offerings ensure on-demand data
accessibility via multi-layered redundancy, and
direct Internet backbone fiber connectivity equivalent
to forty OC-192 connections.
The center maintains managed environmental, power,
fire suppression and facility-wide security services,
and protects bars' data assets and Framework Servers
with unblinking attentiveness.
